I was referred here by my dentist for a root canal. I was extremely nervous as I’m sure most people are due to needles and drills. They were extremely kind from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. They asked how I was multiple times during the procedure. I was in and out within an hour. They explained everything very well and I felt very comfortable. It was the least painful experience I think a person could have. I recommend anybody needing dental work to come here.

On the Wednesday before the 4th of July, I had been experiencing excruciating pain to the point of being unable to focus. During the holiday weekend, I called around but was unable to reach anyone who was available until I called Dr. Hertzberg. He gave me recommendations for the pain I was experiencing and let me know what to do on Monday to be seen. Following his instructions, I called first thing in the morning and spoke with Diane, who was very understanding and friendly. They were able to get me in at 9:00 AM between appointments. The procedure was incredibly fast—I believe it was done in around 20 to 30 minutes, and the whole thing was painless. Sometimes drills can increase my anxiety, but they even offered me headphones to use. After the procedure, Diane also found that my insurance was not maxed out (which I thought it had been) and reduced my cost by more than half of what was expected. A day or two later, the office called to check on me. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Hertzberg and his practice. If they offered general dentistry, I would switch to them as my primary dentist in a heartbeat (even though I live an hour away)

Before and after expensive molar root canal. You be the judge. Filling between cracked but not surprised given the space between filling and gum. When I contacted them, I was told it is now my dentists responsibility. Click the photo to see the full after.

Dr. Fields was professional and friendly. He explained everything he was doing and did a great job. This was my first root canal and I was naturally a bit anxious about it. No more. The procedure was painless and 4 days later I feel fully recovered. If I need another, I will definitely see Dr. Fields again.

Had a great experience here despite the terrible circumstances of dealing with a horribly painful infection related to a failed root canal. They fit me in for a consult the day after my dentist referred me and were straight forward and expedient in booking me for an apicoectomy two days later. I had the procedure with Dr. Hertzberg who did everything he could to make the experience as comfortable as possible. The staff were kind and professional. 12 hours later I felt much, much better. Definitely will return here if something like this ever happens again but fingers crossed i won’t have to.
